Bonnie Hanson - Human Resources Manager

As Human Resources Manager for Weigand-Omega, Bonnie L. Hanson is responsible for payroll, personnel policy, employee relations, benefits and training.  A graduate of Wichita State University, Bonnie first taught school, then started and operated her own 50-employee company for twelve years before selling it and joining the Weigand-Omega team in 1986.

Bonnie is very active in helping to secure the best and most cost effective benefits package for the Weigand-Omega staff of about 235 employees, and is proactively involved in risk management and mitigation for the company and owners.  She is a member of the local and national Society for Human Resource Management, has served on the board of directors as an honorary member for one of the company’s contracted health care providers, and has been a past President of the Board of Directors for the Kansas Employers Worker’s Compensation Fund.  Bonnie serves as a member of the State Board of Directors of The Kansas Children’s Service League.  The League provides programs and services for child abuse prevention and child welfare.
