    Job Title: Assistant Storage Facility Manager/Relief

    Reports To: Storage Facility Manager and/or District/Regional Property Supervisor

    Scope and Purpose
    The Assistant Storage Facility Manager/Assistant Storage Facility Relief Manager is responsible for leasing storage units, possibly selling merchandise, implementing networking and marketing programs, customer service, office administration and achievement of budgeted financial results at the self-storage facility (facilities) to which he/she is assigned.

    Location: Topeka, Kansas and Houston, Texas
    Reports To: District Manager/Regional Property Manager

    Scope and Purpose
    The Storage Facility Manager is responsible for leasing storage units, possibly selling merchandise, implementing networking and marketing programs, customer service, office administration and achievement of budgeted financial results. The Storage Facility Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the facility is properly maintained, achieved through coordinating and overseeing the efforts of the Assistant Storage Facility Manager, Assistant Storage Facility Relief Manager and/or outside contractors. The Storage Facility Manager assists the District and/or Regional Property Supervisor in the development of an annual budget and will continuously monitor actual financial performance against the budget as the year progresses.

    Location: Wichita, Kansas or various other sites
    Reports To: Residential Manager or Building Maintenance Supervisor

    Summary and Purpose
    Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire property. Responsible for maintaining cleaned and repaired condition of the property interiors, exteriors, and site using materials and equipment and following manufacturer's directions for same. Continually strives to increase his/her working knowledge of the property.

    Scope and Purpose
    The Residential Manager’s goal is to maximize the income and control the expenses at the apartment community. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and organization of the apartment management office and staff ensuring that the property is clean, in good repair and target occupancy is met.

    Scope and Purpose
    To lease apartments while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy. To work with and assist the Residential Manager in the general administration of the property and perform related leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions. Courteous and helpful behavior to residents and potential residents is essential.
  • Maintenance Specialist
    Job Title: Maintenance Specialist
    Location: On-Site or various sites
    Reports To: Residential Manager or Building Maintenance Supervisor

    Education and Experience Requirements
    1. The skill and knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma.
    2. Must have the EPA Universal Certification (please attach a copy).
    3. A Journeyman’s or Master’s license in the fields of HVAC mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing.
    4. Must have 4 years of verifiable experience in apartment, commercial, or other related industry.

    Other Qualification Requirements
    1. Valid state driver’s license (please attach a copy).
    2. Current auto liability insurance coverage.
    3. Dependable transportation.
    4. A telephone where you can be reached.
    5. Tools to perform the duties under this job description. Certain property specific equipment and expendables may be provided.
