Daylight Savings Time Safety
March 4, 2020Safety, Not Only Covid-19
March 30, 2020Good Morning Team,
Turned on or listened to the news lately? There’s a little bit of panic and uncertainty going on out there right now. Long lines with toilet tissue and hand sanitizer shelves emptied at retail stores. I visited a couple of local retailers myself early Sunday morning – though not for toilet tissue or hand sanitizer – and was immediately struck by just how bare the rest of the store’s shelves were. And while I believe that we have been saturated with information regarding the virus named Covid-19, some of it has been sensationalized or speculative in nature and that can lead to unintended consequences such as runs on toilet paper. (No pun intended?)
I hope to avoid adding my voice to that cacophony and instead instill a small measure of peace this Monday morning. I can’t do that spouting my own ‘facts’ about what the virus is, how it spreads, or is avoided. I am not an infectious disease expert. I can however point to the best possible sources of the latest information available and that is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or your own local health organizations. Here in Kansas, it’s the KDHE or Kansas Department of Health & Environment. They are the ones we should be turning to for the latest updates. Here are their respective links:

I can offer no further, or better, advice than to check for updates on these sites often and follow the guidelines given.
Please stay informed and stay safe.
