Weigand-Omega Management believes in their team members and gives everyone the opportunity to grow and learn.  Opportunities are all around us at Weigand-Omega Management, no matter what our job title we are treated with respect and encouraged to be leaders. When I joined the team in 1994 as a part-time leasing agent (while still in college), I had no experience. I was determined to work hard and learn from others. I have held every position from leasing agent/assistant manager/property manager/district manager. In 2010 I was promoted to Regional Property Manager. I currently oversee a portfolio of Project Based HUD, Tax Credit and Conventional Properties.  I enjoy coming to work every day knowing that I work for a company where Honesty and Integrity are at the top of our Core Values.  We can make a difference in the lives of others by helping residents find the perfect home and by being able to pay it forward and help team members learn and grow. I am Thankful for all of the opportunities I have been given.

 I began my career as a handyman in 1979. Throughout the years I was blessed with new challenges, and today I am the Director of Facilities Services. Throughout my career, I have always found that the most common trait in all the people I personally recognized as leaders, and those that I learned the most from, was that they were humble. They didn’t seek attention, and were approachable. They indicated that their individual efforts were less important than others in their team, and they never assigned blame to others. I learned very quickly that the leaders at Weigand-Omega most commonly held this trait. Being humble allows us to accept that others may know more than we do and that we can learn from them. I am blessed to be employed at Weigand-Omega Management, Inc. and strive daily to meet the expectations of the written Mission, Vision and Values the company culture has really always been based upon. They are a living breathing part of the company’s very existence and are in the forefront of all that we do.

Apartment Managers help our clients (property owners) in preserving and increasing the value of their real estate investments. Apartment managers get to do something different every single day and like to wear many hats. If you are a detailed person and like to roll up your sleeves to get involved with your teams, this is the career for you! They manage the day-to-day financial operations of the property, including finding and placing qualified residents, and they ensure the property is in good working order. They are leaders and oversee property staff members.

An on-site commercial property manager takes care of all the details required to run a commercial building. You make connections with your tenants and follow-up on maintenance requests with your team. You enjoy showing available spaces to new or existing tenants, collecting rents, and scheduling  building maintenance projects. Commercial district managers  are outgoing, travel to visit their properties regularly, and hold a real estate license. You are a problem solver and enjoy showing spaces to prospective tenants as well as preparing and executing leases. You oversee a number of buildings within your portfolio.

Hotel/Resort Management

Hotel & Resort staff provide a warm atmosphere to welcome our guests and help them experience the comforts of home, while enjoying the adventure of travel. Our hotel staff are a tight-knit family with many varying positions that benefit the whole. Front desk staff welcome guests and pay attention to detail, make sure the space is tidy and inviting, and are the face of our company. Our maintenance workers and housekeeping staff work behind the scenes to make sure that the day-to-day details are taken care of. Life guard staff care deeply about the safety of our guests and their children in our water parks and pools, they take pride the cleanliness of the water as well as maintaining water park features. Golf course and groundskeepers love the great outdoors, take great pride in the beauty of well maintained grounds. Kitchen staff and cooks create innovative meals that take our guests on a journey, and provide the comforts of a home-cooked meal while on the road.

We have our own compliance department and they are excellent at processing housing vouchers, advising residents and staff about Fair Housing laws, and helping navigate the waters for Tax Credits and HUD Vouchers.

Our facilities services staff are diligent, have varied commercial building maintenance skills in everything from plumbing, to electrical, to HVAC, and even general tasks such as doing daily checks on vacant buildings. They receive work orders, and knock them out like a champ! They know how to utilize software to track work orders, purchase supplies, and are self-sufficient. They love to be on the move and outdoors, and don’t like sitting at a desk. They are the face of our company, and thank our customers daily for choosing Weigand-Omega.

Our Maintenance technicians are friendly, driven, and they also have great attention to detail and follow-through. They understand that they are there to help our customers in the moments that matter most. Under the direction of the property manager, they are in charge of the upkeep of a facility, such as an apartment complex or business office, and have a variety of skills; such as plumbing, grounds keeping, carpentry, painting, and janitorial and electrical skills. They can turn over an apartment or office space quickly and have it ready for the next resident/tenant to move in. They can utilize software to track their progress and manage their time well. Maintenance technicians are invaluable to our properties and there are opportunities for advancement and obtaining new training as well as certifications.
